Vintage OaksThe community that ended 2013 as the “fastest growing community in the Hill Country,” according to Metrostudy, has started 2014 just as strong. SouthStar Communities reported a 40 percent increase in new-home starts in Vintage Oaks, it was reported today in the San Antonio Business Journal.

SouthStar Communities is reporting double-digit growth in new-home construction in Vintage Oaks. Over the course of 2013, construction commenced on 61 new homes in the luxury community — a 40 percent increase from the 44 new-home starts reported in 2012,” they said.

The article also quoted SouthStar Communities Chief Operating Officer Thad Rutherford, who said that Vintage Oaks is “welcoming three new property owners a week and more than one new home start per week.” Rutherford added that Vintage Oaks is currently in the process of building 61 new homes at Vintage Oaks—further indication of how well-received both the community and the city of New Braunfels are.

Vintage Oaks sold nearly 150 homesites in 2013 and is on pace for another great year, with several distinct homesite offerings and the upcoming launch of The Reserve. Vintage Oaks currently offers:

  • Silver Oaks is a new neighborhood of spectacular 1- to 2.42-acre properties featuring some of the most breathtaking views of the Hill Country’s rolling terrain and majestic oak trees. The neighborhood is also a short walk from Comal ISD’s proposed school site.
  • Champagne Hills is Vintage Oaks’ first gated community in more than two years, offering some of the most spectacular Hill Country views and an air of privacy that is hard to find. The homesites also offer huge oak trees, heavily wooded landscapes, private cul-de-sac sites and green belt locations with direct access to the community’s walking trails.
