The greater San Antonio area is headed for more gains in the real estate and employment sectors if you ask Home Depot. The home improvement store just announced it was hiring 750 new associates in San Antonio in an effort to gear up for its spring busy season. “The local ramp up is part of a larger plan by Home Depot to hire 80,000 associates nationwide in preparation for spring — the busiest time of the year for the company,” said the San Antonio Business Journal.
Not only is spring historically the busiest time of the year for home improvement stores, it also marks the start of the busiest time of the year for real estate and for buying Texas land. This has been historically true at Vintage Oaks; the No. 1 community in the Texas Hill Country is also gearing up for a busy season that is expected to eclipse the record-breaking numbers of the past year. Vintage Oaks encourages anyone who is looking to purchase in the next few months to schedule a tour now by visiting Vintage Oaks. Spring tour slots are already beginning to fill up.
Vintage Oaks ended 2013 as the “fastest-growing community in the Hill Country,” according to Metrostudy, with a reported 40 percent increase in new-home starts year over year. Vintage Oaks sold nearly 150 homesites in 2013 and commenced construction on 61 new homes — a 40 percent increase from the 44 new-home starts reported in 2012,” according to the San Antonio Business Journal.
