2. Wurstfest

A unique annual event that involve the famous German sausage. Since the first festival in 1961, Wurstfest has been a tremendous success that always draws the sausage-hungry crowd. One of the major attractions to this tourist town, Wurstfest is a must for visitors and local residents to celebrate the New Braunfels tradition.

3. Schlitterbahn Water Park

Listed as one of the World’s Best Water Parks, this family-friendly attraction does not disappoint. 4. River Tubing

6. Landa Park

An amazing park spans 51 acre including the Landa Lake, the Comal Springs and the Panther Canyon Nature Trail. Take a Sunday stroll, hop into a paddle boat or the miniature train. There are also covered picnic tables free to New Braunfels residents.

7. Natural Bridge Caverns

The largest cavern in Texas offers several tours leading visitors though underground wonders of nature. There are spectacular centuries-old formations that will bring an educational and fun experience for couples as well as families.

8. New Braunfels Railroad Museum

New Braunfels used to be on the track of the most traveled rail roads in Texas. Some of the trains came from Canada and Mexico, bringing with them history and cultural adventures to be discovered at the museum.
